In fact the majority of all bookings I now take are 'returns'! (See what they say here) If you're the sort of person who hates returning to the same holiday location dare you risk that first visit ?
Although children are lovely I don't accept them in these apartments in order to maintain a peaceful environment
Lots of experience - I have been running my self-catering holidays in Rye continuously since 1988

We’ve had a lovely time here. The highlights, apart from the charming town of Rye, were Sissinghurst and Hole Park Gardens. We’ve been coming to Rye regularly for over 15 years now and this is our second stay at the Boathouse. If there is a more perfect place to stay in Rye, we’ve yet to find it. It’s the place to stay for easy access to the charms of Rye and the countryside beyond.                 Jane & John Kirwin 15th May 2010

Visitor's BookAnother relaxing week - our second visit. Enjoyable lunches at Haydens. Redshank & curlew on our doorstep. Heron, Egret & lapwing at Rye Nature Reserve. Thank you Chris for the bottle, a kind thought. Colin & Marion Harrington, Havant, Hants 12-19 Oct 2013 We’ve had a lovely time here. Snow lying and bitter winds made us limit our intended walks & birding. Very glad to get back to the warm flat. Had to be content with the local redshanks. Even the ostriches stayed in their shed. Later in week, good trip to Canterbury; quick & easy via Ashford on train. Still a thoroughly enjoyable week. John & Olive Mercer Sidcup 8-15 March 2013 Our sixth visit - can’t you tell we love it! Although the weather has been pretty cold at times the flat has been cosy and restful - as always. We have had a lovely time just ‘chilling’. We had our Sunday lunch at the Haven and it was lovely. In six visits we had never been there before! Thanks for the bubbly and the wifi. Hope to see you, Chris, next time we come. Judith and Clive Morgan Buckfast, Devon, 6th - 13th April 2013 Delightful location with all the facilities for a relaxed and most enjoyable stay. Town centre is a delight with many ‘old fashioned’ shops - folk are so pleasant everyone speaks to you. A bonus bottle of bubbly - thanks. Tenterden & Battle are a must to see if you have not been before. Too many good eating places to mention, something for everyone’s taste. Sheer joy - this short note does not do justice to the Boathouse and the pleasures that Rye holds! Mark & Terri Bedfordshire 27/07/12 - 4/08/12 Lovely location in a beautiful town. Enjoyed eating our meals in the sunshine on the balcony. Fantastic apartment in every way. Visiting Canterbury Cathedral & town also Battle, 1066 is a must. Will be coming to Rye & this apartment next year. It’s a must. Allan & Maureen, Dewsbury, West Yorks 4.8.12 to 11.8.12

RYE
These quality one bedroom split-level  apartments have their own access and entrance via mahogany decked steps and sun balcony.

The purpose built apartments, built on the riverbank, provide superb views of passing yachts and the marsh beyond.

The secluded location and the almost hypnotic effect of the tidal river as it ebbs and flows will swiftly put you into a relaxed frame of mind.

Adjacent short term moorings can be organised (subject to availability).

Parking is available at the rear.
